Weather and Temperature
The weather is unpredictable. However, we can find two specific
seasons: a dry season from December to February and a rainy season
the rest of the year. Temperature fluctuates between 25 –
30° C and a humidity of 75 – 80%
What to bring
Solar protection, insect repellent, light clothing, long trouser
(no jeans), shorts, swimming suit, T-shirts and long-sleeve shirts,
cotton socks, torch/ flash lamp, binoculars, zip-lock plastic bags,
sandals, comfortable shoes, light jacket or windbreaker, raincoat
or water proof jacket, small duffle-bag. Rubber boots will be provided
by the company.
Other information:
- Not included transportation Quito-Tena-Quito (Ask
for latest availability and prices)
- Drinks, tips, personal expenses not included in
program prices
- Fixed departures on Thursdays and Sundays, however
with a minimum of 3 participants the program can operate on any
day.
